Barbara Fahs Charles

In a museum design career spanning over a half-century, Barbara Fahs Charles’ many projects have included numerous exhibitions for the Smithsonian, the Sixth Floor Museum in Dallas, Texas, the re-installation of the Detroit Institute of Arts, the gallery and other interpretive elements at Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello, a world heritage site, and a major travelling exhibition for the Landeszeughaus, Universalmuseum Joanneum, Graz. She has led workshops in Vietnam, Russia and Bangladesh and been a consultant for the Museum of the Political History of Russia in St. Petersburg and most recently for the Liberation War Museum in Dhaka.
