Founded in 2008, The Inclusive Museum Research Network is brought together by a shared concern for the future role of the museum and how it can become more inclusive. We seek to build an epistemic community where we can make linkages across disciplinary, geographic, and cultural boundaries. As a Research Network, we are defined by our scope and concerns and motivated to build strategies for action framed by our shared themes and tensions.
The Fourteenth International Conference on the Inclusive Museum calls for research addressing the following annual themes and special focus:
Our mission is to provide a safe, sustainable, and accessible way for us to come together and interact as a Research Network. We are taking on these challenges by offering blended conference experience with session types explicitly designed to make the most of both online and in-person social knowledge processes.
We pride ourselves on the global diversity of our network members. Add your voice, in-person or online, by submitting a proposal today. You will need the following: presentation type, short/long descriptions, keywords, focus, themes, and biographical information.

The development team at the Common Ground Media Lab has been working tirelessly to create a next-generation web platform to support a robust blended conference experience.
All presenters are given personal Presenter Pages: Linked to profile page on CGScholar, displaying abstract summary, thematic connection to panelists and peers, ability to add digital media: video, sound, other files, for persistent discoverability and formal citation as a conference presentation.

We are working to change the way in which knowledge is produced, validated, and shared within member-based Research Networks.
The International Journal of the Inclusive Museum and Book Imprint offer pathways to transform your presentation into formal research objects. We also support a number of affordable Open Access pathways to allow maximum flexibility to support principles of open research, in a sustainable manner.
Audience Passes are for those who want to benefit from the content, connect with presenters, and join the discussion -- in-person and online. You'll gain access to all headline presentations: welcome addresses, plenary addresses, and curated thematic content -- either live or from any place and in your own time. And you'll be able to participate in innovative blended formats -- Talking Circles, Garden Conversations -- using the best of in-person and online capacities, and on a human scale. All audience members will be recognized in the program for their participation.
We welcome the submission of proposals at any time of the year. The dates below serve as a guideline for proposal submission based on our corresponding registration deadlines. All proposals will be reviewed within two to four weeks of submission.
